PAUL WAMUTI NDEGWA

Our founder Partner Paul Wamuti Ndegwa holds an LLB, LLM and is candidate for PHD degree.  He lectures Commercial Law at University of Nairobi. He was admitted to the bar in 1995.   He was on 25/09/09 appointed and gazetted by the Hon. Chief Justice as a member of the Rules Committee and Committee on the Expeditious Disposal of Cases a position he holds to date.

He brings in to the firm 17 years of expertise in

1. Civil and Commercial Litigation
2. Corporate Law.
3. Debt Collection and Recovery of Securities.
4. Conveyancing & Perfection of legal instrument.s

He started his career with the firm of Mohamed & Muigai Advocates in Nairobi and Managed the Mombasa branch from 1992 to 1999 as an Associate. In 1999, he established an independent Firm in the style of Ndegwa & Associates which later merged to form Ndegwa, Muthama & Katisya Advocates & Associates in 2006.  Paul Wamuti Ndegwa is a Managing Partner.

He is a Council Member of Mombasa Law Society.

JANET KATISYA-OSOLIKA

Janet Katisya-Osolika holds an LLB degree from the University of Nairobi and Diploma in Law from the Kenya School of Law.  She has worked with the firm from 2002 and became Partner in 2006.  She was admitted to the bar in 2004.

She completed a marketing Diploma with Marketing Society of Kenya with a distinction and is (currently pursuing an MBA Course at the University of Nairobi) Bandari Campus.

She worked at M/s A.B. Patel & Patel Advocates in Mombasa before joining Ndegwa & Associates in 2002. Janet Katisya is currently serving as the Secretary General of the Mombasa Law Society.

She specialises in:-

• Conveyancing & Registration.
• Perfection of security instruments.
• Drafting and drawing contracts.
• Corporate Law.

JANE AWINO UMARA

Jane Awino Umara holds an LLB  degree from University of Nairobi, a Diploma in law from the Kenya School of Law and a diploma in Public Relations Management from the Kenya Institute of Management. She is also a Certified Public Secretary and a member of the Institute of Certified Public Secretaries (K). She was admitted to the bar in 1997.

She worked for A.F. Gross Advocates and Mulwa & Mulwa Advocates Nairobi, before joining the State Law Office as a State Counsel in 1997, rising to the position of Principal Litigation Counsel before joining Ndegwa Muthama Katisya & Associates in 2010.

She brings into the firm 12 years of expertise in
